Such as they have mentioned that parents have to pay the monthly fees by the 20th of each month according to the English Calendar. There’s no reduction in Tuition or Bus fees for absences or broken periods. And if the fees are not paid for two months, then the student is withdrawn.

The Tuition and computer fees are charged for twelve months and bus fees for eleven months. Those students coming from middle and lower socioeconomic backgrounds clearly cannot afford to pay for their education at this college. It also puts a lot of pressure on the parents who are commonly job holders and have to wait for the 1st of the month.

The college may hold a great reputation over the period. It may also grant the best quality education to the students. But it seems that it doesn’t grant an opportunity to the students coming from a low financial background. They select students from SEE completely on a merit basis according to the grades they have secured.

Every year, thousands of students give an entrance exam just to admit to this college. It is one of the best +2 colleges in Nepal ever since it got established in 1988 under the Nepal Jesus Society. The college not only focuses on academic but also help to improve the leadership and inner ability of the students.

Located at Maitighar in Kathmandu, St. Xavier college is an educational institution in Nepal that has been operating by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) since 1988. It provides high school courses (grades 11 and 12) through the Cambridge A-levels and 10+2 programs.

It also provides Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in natural science, business, social science, and humanities. The college is dedicated to excellence, leadership, and service. The Jesuits started their educational work in Kathmandu in 1951. Later it shifted to its building at Mati Ghar in 1993. The college under T. U. Provided only an intermediate in science for eight years.
