Nisha Adhikari was born on 4th October 1984 to parents KhadagAdhikari and Durga Adhikari in Mission Hospital of Tansen, Palpa. Her father worked for United Mission and her mother was a lecturer at Nursing Campus.
She was raised by her grandmother in the village since her parents could not make time for her. Later, she came to Kathmandu for her education. She started as a VJ who were a beauty queen and a model.
Nisha was passionate about fashion as every teen would have dreamt of. She has crowned Miss International Nepal in 2005 and won the title of Miss Personality in 2005.
Nisha Adhikari completed her A levels from Kathmandu Valley School with Business as a major subject. She later joined Wigan Leigh College, New York Film Academy from where she completed her graduation.
She had learned Business and social science as well. Before entering the film industry, she acted in a TV series called Gharbeti Baa which was a popular comedy series that was broadcasted on Kantipur Television. She got her debut movie in a movie called Mission Paisa
Nisha Adhikari got her debut movie in a movie called Mission Paisa starter Nikhil Upreti in 2009. She is the first actress to climb Mount Everest on 21st May 2013. Nisha also raised the Nepali flag on the top of Africa’s highest Kilimanjaro peak after climbing the 5756m peak.
She is married to SharadVesawakar, the national cricket player. She is a Marketing Consultant at Presidential plan Company where she helps with employee recruitment, advertising and so on.
