Ever since her childhood, Kaki was always fascinated with acting and modeling and subsequently entered into the glamour world at the age of 18 when she participated in and won the prestigious Miss Teen Nepal 2005. Since then, she actively pursued a modeling career. Aside from modeling, she took a job as a VJ in a popular television show.

She pursued her acting career with a role in the comedy sitcom Gharbeti Ba. However, with the completion of Gharbeti Ba, she went to the US to pursue her education.
