Though they are more or less the making of his own sculptures and statues. The main contribution of his is the buliding of the artificial pond called Rani Pokhari(Pond of the Queen).
It was created to console his Queen who was going through a sad phase due to death of her son.
But even Rani Pokhari couldn’t console her. So the king gave the order to the people of his nation. Those families which had gone through the same suffering as the queen had.
Those who had a death in their family within a year. They were ordered to bring the carnival of cows and children on the street.
The main goal of the king was to show the Queen that there were others too who had death in their family.
The queen was consoled. The people were happy. The situation was a win win. Since the cow was and is considered to be the holy creature.
