Nepali Calendar 2078 Magh – Nepali Patro 2078 Magh

This is Nepali Calendar 2078 B.S. at the Magh माघ Month. Here in Nepal, the local national calendar is running that is called Bikram Sambat (B.S.). So, Nepali Calendar is known as Bikram Sambat.

Nepali Calendar is also locally called Nepali Patro. This is a collection of Nepali calendar 2078 B.S. with English dates (A.D) also called Gregorian calendar with Nepali calendar. This Nepali calendar 2078 includes all the events and festivals of Nepal with detail accuracy.

Festivals and Events Often falls in the month of Magh

1st Magh:

This is the first day of Magh. This day is celebrated as the festival by the Terai regions of people. This day is also celebrated by calling Maghe or Makar Sankranti in India and Nepal. On this day, people make the sweets of Bhuja, Teel  Laddu and bitten rice.

This day is also celebrated as the responsibility for taking a day that the son has the responsibility toward father, toward mother, brother responsibility towards a brother. This day have the special meaning that, there is eating of Khichdi and vegetables.

And someone also celebrated this day by eating the meat and different delicious dishes. The day has special meaning and values according to Hindu culture. This day marks the value of the relationship. The person makes different sweets and worships the god by taking a compulsory bath in the morning.

So this day is also known as the ‘’poush ko pakaya, Magh me Khaya’’. Because a person makes at the end of Poush and eats at first Magh. So this is the festival which is celebrated widely by the people of Terai regions and the people of India.

Customs day 13th Magh

This day has also great importance for the government. The goods are imported and exported in this way in the border of the country. There is situated customs and charge the customs fee while exporting and importing of the goods.

The income of the government is the customs collection. The great customs of Nepal is birgunj in which there perform more than 100 crores of financial transaction regularly.

And this day is celebrated to make the new plans and policies for achieving the target or for the betterment of performance. The day is only celebrated by the customs officers. The government does not provide national holidays.

Martyr’s day 16th Magh

This day is celebrated for the contribution of a martyr. The day is devoted to the feet of martyrs. In this day, the country remembers all martyr who had given their lives for the safety of the country and betterment of Nepalese.

The first Martyrs of Nepal is Shukra Raj Shastri who had used the word’’ Jay Nepal’’ which means the victory of Nepal. This day reminds the contribution of blood donation for the country. They have spent their life making the country better.

Their personal benefits have buried, their national benefit is the first thing is determined by them. They are the great human of Nepal’s mother. The name will not be forgotten and erased in the book of history.

Sonam lhosar :

This is the festival which lies in the month of Magh. It is the festival of Sherpa of Himalayans. So this festival is celebrated by Sherpa most.

The goddess of education and knowledge is celebrated on this day. As we know that the goddess of wealth is called as Lakshmi and the goddess of knowledge and education is called Sarswoti.

This is a great festival for students most. There are organized of different programs in the school and educational areas. According to the Hindu epic, Goddess Saraswati is said as the sister of Lakshmi.

The vehicle of Goddess Saraswati is duck and peacock. The source of education and knowledge is Goddess Saraswati. The person has only been a successful person when he or she gets the blessing of Goddess Saraswati. It is also said that for being a good singer, you have to the grace of goddess Saraswati because Goddess Saraswati is also known as the king of the voice.

We have to always keep in the mind that wealth is not greater than education. Education is priceless which have no price. The great sayings say that crops are developed by cultivation and human are developed by education.

For the development of the country, education is the base and starting path of development. The country can only develop in their infrastructure and makes the system better only by educated people. So to get and achieve the great and to make the wise man, students celebrate with great courage.

Magh 22th – Cancer day

This day is celebrated for the end of cancer from Nepal and the world. These days raise voice against cancer. Providing facilities and health service for cancer patients. The government also helps to provide many health help and free medicines etc.
