Nepali Calendar Baishakh – Nepali Patro 2079 Baishakh

This is Nepali Calendar 2079 B.S. at the Baishakh बैशाख Month. Here in Nepal, a local national calendar is running that is called Bikram Sambat (B.S.). So, Nepali Calendar is known as Bikram Sambat. Nepali Calendar is also locally called Nepali Patro.

This is a collection of the Nepali calendar 2079 B.S. with English dates (A.D) also called the Gregorian calendar with Nepali calendar. This Nepali calendar for 2079 includes all the events and festivals of Nepal with detailed accuracy.

The Nepalese calendar starts in Bikram Sambat form. The Nepalese date and month also behave in the same forms. The history of Bikram Sambat has been started with the king of Vikram Aditya.

So the Nepalese works and all the official dates, and historical dates are records on the base of Vikram’s combat. Bikram Sambat for functionary use since then, Bikram Sambat came into official use in 1958 as the Nepali calendar.

The 12 months and the name of the seven days are the same rotation of the year all over the world. The country’s identity is its language and culture. Most people used to spend and follow the routine according to the English calendar.

The name of seven days is the same in both Nepali and English calendars but the meaning of using and calling it is different. Let us discuss the names of the seven days that Nepali called it:

  1. Sunday – Rabibar
  2. Monday – Sombaar
  3. Tuesday – Mangalbaar
  4. Wednesday – Budhabaar
  5. Thursday – Bihibaar
  6. Friday –Shukrabaar
  7. Saturday – Shanibaar

Now the name of the month according to the Nepal calendar falls according to the English calendar.

Happy New Year 2079

This is the first month of the year. And it has a great festival that is the new year which is celebrated by all the Nepali. People express their feeling and share their wishes with their relatives and friends. The New year is celebrated on the 1st of Baisakh every year according to the Nepalese calendar. Nepalese celebrate this day as a festival.

The happiness is extremely shown in the face of Nepalese. The first day of the year makes the man energetic and tension free. All Nepalese join hands in the path of development, friendship, and non-discriminating society formation. Great love and affection are used to show on the occasion of the first day of the year.

Many regions of Nepal like as Himal, Pahad, and Terai people celebrates this day with their own cultures and tradition. But if you talk about the Terai region, there forms the great fair. In the district of Siraha and zone of Sagarmatha, there is one great forest near the city of Lahan also called ‘’Fulbari’’, which has a special occurrence in the first year because in the first there grows the flower of the tree for one day only and it again goes destruction.

So it has major importance on that day and the peoples of Terai regions celebrate and worship the festival named ’’JUDSHITAL’’. They make different kinds of delicious meals and plant trees in the new year.

They also give water to the tree because from this day the mango tree starts giving fruit process older age people use to spray the water on the head of children and adults by giving a blessing for a bright future. This all used to see only in the first year. So it is a great day for Nepalese and the people of the Terai regions.

After some days, the festival of Rama and Sita’s marriage ceremony came. This day is celebrated as the marriage anniversary of the gods Rama and Sita. The God marriage is celebrated by the people of India and Nepal as the Rama was the king of Ayodhya and the Sita was the daughter of Janak, king of Janakpur.

This is the great relationship that makes the relationship with neighbor India. God has made the relationship. So it is said as Nepal and India are brothers. The culture and traditions are almost the same. Hindi is also understood by the people of Nepal and Maithili and Nepali are also understood by the people of India. There is a strong relationship between India and Nepal for the time of God Rama and Sita.

World labors day on the 1st of May

The unity and community of labor organizations speak about the right and duties of labor. They celebrate 1st May every year as world labor day. This program is conducted in every country of the world on this day.

There made the contract and bond of laborers, that how many hours should labor work, how many hours should labor can get the break and rest time. Labor should not be worked on the machine, etc. The labor price and work are also mentioned. And this day lies in the month of Baisakh.
