10 Day Nepal Itinerary

We have made a solid 10 days holiday plan that you can spend in Nepal. It depends upon your interest and hobbies how you want to spend your days in Nepal, however, our plan is overall for the entire category. We are sure this idea can make your holidays one of the memorable moments of your life.

Day 1: Nepal Itinerary Guide

As soon as you arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, you can rest some hour in some of the lovely and fantastic restaurant and cafes of Kathmandu. Then, a trip starts with a flight to Pokhara. You can also go by bus but it takes more than 6 hours depending on the traffic of the road while it takes less than half an hour by flight.

After reaching Pokhara, you can book rooms for some couple of days since there are so many things to do here in Pokhara. There are many lovely hotels based upon your affordability.

I suggest you book the hotels nearby lakeside so that you can enjoy the lakeside life in the evening. The evening of the first day will be spent in the lakeside Pokhara which will surely help you to feel relax and remove out all the jetlag and travel stress.

About an hour visit to Devi’s Falls, you can visit the International Mountain Museum if you have an interest in mountaineering. There you can get the history and details related to the Nepalese mountaineering.

The day time is the best to visit the Phewa Lake. It is the second largest lake of Nepal. You can boat in the lake, you can hike or cycle around the lake. The evening night will be spent around the Pokhara night club. The night club and the DJs are very much popular among the tourist.

Day 3: Nepal Itinerary Guide

The third day can be the most adventurous one. You can start it by paragliding from Sarangkot, one of the best hot spot to view Annapurna Himalayas range.

You can go to Sarangkot by hiring a bike, renting a car or you can go for the hour-long hike if you love hiking. The place is pretty cold, so don’t forget to take some warm clothes.

After paragliding, you can visit the Peace temple from where you can view the panoramic view of the Pokhara city, lake, and the Himalayan range.

Take a flight back to Kathmandu on the sixth day. The Kathmandu valley may be small but you have a lot of places to visit here. You can start your trip by visiting the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar which the center heart of Kathmandu.

Thamel is the best place for tourist for shopping and for staying. So, you can book your room in Thamel areas.

Then, visit Swayambhunath Temple, A Buddhist temple from where you can get the glimpse of Kathmandu Valley.

An evening time in Boudhanath temple will make feel better while the night time is best to spend around Thamel.

Patan Durbar Square is located in Patan. You can visit here followed by Jawalakhel zoo.

Godawari can be the best place for you if are fond of flowers. Garden of Dream can be the best place for you if you want to get some peace.

You can visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most famous Hindu temples all over the world in the evening. You can see the cremation of dead bodies according to Hindu rituals and evening puja.

Day 8: Nepal Itinerary Guide

Hire a taxi and go to visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is one of the oldest city of Newar inhabitants.

You can see the cultures, customs, arts, crafts, and architecture of Newar society.

After Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you can head to Nagarkot, one of the favorite places near Kathmandu to view the natural beauty and Himalayan ranges. One night at Nagarkot can make you feel pleasure.

Day 9: Nepal Itinerary Guide

Rafting and Bunji Jump, if are on your to-do list, then Bhotekoshi is the best place for rafting.

You can also experience Bunji jump there. Since it is outside the Valley, rafting and Bunji Jump will cover your whole day.
