  • 1/2 cups water I tsp oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • salt to test

 The process to cook Red Lentil Dal Soup Recipe

  • Wash lintel dal,
  • add water, turmeric powder, oil, and salt.
  • Boil till the dal is well cooked or it can be cooked in a pressure cooker.
  • Heat ghee in a saucepan,
  • fry chopped onion till it gets brown,
