As the Nepal election results published, Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) emerged as the fourth largest party in the Constituent Assembly (CA) 2013, Nepal. The chairman of This forth largest party RPP-Nepal, Kamal Thapa has announced that RPP-Nepal will not join the government.

RPP-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa has announced such announcement during a press meet held at the party office in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu on Friday, 29 November 2013.

Kamal Thapa said,

“RPP-N will play the role of a positive, powerful and creative opposition at the parliament. Our party will completely shun the dirty power-centric competition. A new consensus should be forged for appointment in constitutional bodies based on the new power equation,”


 Kamal Thapa‚ RPP-N chairman added,


“RPP-N will play an active role to establish a Hindu state‚ constitutional monarchy with democracy and preserve national integrity. We will‚ however‚ be flexible for a compromise”

Kamal Thapa‚ RPP-N chairman added more,

“We will not get involved in the dirty game for power. Our mandate is to fulfill the responsibility of a strong opposition,”

Kamal Thapa had said Ratriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal does not support the idea of resuming the task of constitution-drafting from where it was last left. He said,“We must start anew. The question of taking on the burden that the old CA left behind does not arise.”

Nepali congress with CPN UML will make a new government of Nepal after post poll.  It is seen that Nepal congress will lead the government of Nepal. All the it is not fixed who is leading the government of Nepal. As the results of Nepal elections, Nepali congress is been the first largest party of Nepal while Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has been the second largest party of Nepal.
