Kali Gandaki Rafting Nepal Itinerary:
Day 01: The first day of your trip to Kali Gandaki Rafting, you’ll be driven by tourist bus to Pokhara from Kathmandu. It may takes about 7 hours to get Pokhara and overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 02: At the morning, you’ll be driven to Beni (a small city) from Pokhara. It may takes around 3-4 hrs to the put-in point near Beni. Throughout this drive of course you’ll have the stunning views of some world’s popular mountains; over 8000 Meters Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, the sacred Machapuchare, Manaslu and other numerous mountains. Upon arrival, all the equipment will be uploaded and you will receive a full safety briefing. Have lunch and then the guide will take you to the river starting point ready to begin your exciting 3 days raft trip. First day you begin with some class III rapids this is a warm up for the team, after 10/15 minutes you will be encountering 2 big class 4 rapids i.e. ‘Small Brother’ and ‘Big Brother’. Your guide will be making you work hard at doing exercises to work as a team maneuvering the raft efficiently. After scouting the rapid’s safety kayaks will go first and followed by the rafts. Soon after encountering these two big rapids, the confluence of the Modi Khola marks arrival at the evening campsite where you will choose the beach for the evening campsite. Porters unload the rafts and one raft team prepares dinner whilst. The others relax, take in the scenery or play volleyball. Nepalese Staff prepare dinner. After dinner you will enjoy camp fire, Nepalese typical folk songs and dances at the sandy ground.

Day 03: After Breakfast packing rafts, Rafting Commence, Plenty of adrenaline and spectacular scenery. Views of Annapurnna1 and Himalchuli are interspersed with continuous class III sections of river, culminating with the challenging class IV rapids, “Refund” and “Tombstone”. The section of river is abundant with vines, wildlife and Lush vegetation and spectacular waterfalls cascade down cliff faces and lead us to camp at the village of Purti Ghat at the sandy River Bank. Upon arrival at Camp, staff prepare dinner, local comes to talk to you, they may offer you to play volley ball. After dinner, you can enjoy some alcoholic beverage enjoy on camp fire, yours own music, song or join with staff for Nepalese folk song and dances.
Day 04: After breakfast, soon after being back on the water we reach at the holy village of Seti Beni team members have the opportunity to take photos of the Kali Gandaki’s biggest rapids and this sacred Hindu temple. The river has deposited a house size boulder in the confluence with a smaller tributary. Since confluence is considered holy places in the Hindu religion, this boulder has become an important shrine to the local river people. There is usually a great audience to watch and listen to the spectacle as each team negotiates the rapid that has formed around this holy place. Not long after this it is time for the journey to end. Bus will be waiting for you. They load up the gear and prepare for the bus journey back to Pokhara.
Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu.
