11. Eat less salt:

Even if you’re not adding salt to the food, you may still eat too much. About three quarters of the salt we eat is already in the food we buy, like cereals for the breakfast, soups, breads and sauces.

Eating too much salt could elevate your blood pressure. People with high blood pressure will have a higher risk of developing heart disease or having a stroke. Using the food labels to help cut you down.

More than 1.5g/100 g of salt means the food is high in salt. Adults and children older than 11 years should eat no more than 6 g of salt per day. Younger kids should get even less.

To destroy all the essential disease-causing species, water must be brought to a rolling boil. Strong evidence is available now to prove that the water does not need to be boiled for more than 3-4 minutes. Drinking boiled water is another best way to maintain a healthy lifestyle in Pokhara, Nepal.

Some hotels and restaurants can filter just their water. It is definitely not good enough for alcohol, because the hepatitis virus will go into the filter.

15. Altitude sickness

Until going trekking, make sure that you are familiar with the common symptoms of mountain sickness so that you and others can be better able to help. At high altitudes AMS causes headache and nausea. At altitude the life-threatening threats are HACE and HAPE.
