Hanuman Chalisa

Written by the wise man and poet Tulsidas, This mantra is dedicated to Hanuman, the monkey god. Hanuman represents the enlightened consciousness of the human being. He is a symbol of the qualities that a sadhaka should develop; strength, courage, faith, and devotion.

In Hindu mythology, Hanuman is an incarnation of Shiva. His devotion to his master Rama is also known. The love for Rama leads him to travel the world in search of Sita, the wife of his master kidnapped by Ravana.

It is said that Hanuman has a pact with the ‘grahas’ or planets, in particular with the god Shani, ruler of Saturn, to mitigate or soften. And even eliminate the effects of these planets in our lives, and burn the planetary karma.

He was also blessed at birth with a gift from each of the 33,000 ‘devas’ or divine beings. By reciting the mantras to Hanuman, we can achieve whatever we set out to do, be it healing, love, abundance, or whatever we want.

The mantra Hanuman Chalisa is a stanza of 40 verses, written by the sage Tulasidas in ancient Hindi, and is known as one of the most powerful and auspicious songs. A hymn dedicated to Hanuman, translated by Sadguru Sant Keshavadas.

Reciting the Hanuman Chalisa daily offers numerous benefits, even when you listen to it only. The benefits can be mental, physical, spiritual, mundane, or of any kind. By reciting this mantra daily, the devotee gets the rewards of his works and all kinds of desires, small or large, are realized.

Through the continuous and regular recitation of this hymn, blessings and the grace of glorious powers will be obtained, and the life of the reciter will be full of bliss and happiness.

Through the chanting of Hanuman Chalisa we invoke strength, energy, shakti to overcome obstacles and progress in life. Before you start singing, become aware of your breathing for a few moments.
