How to get to Chandragiri Hill?
The hill of Chandragiri Hills, where the ticket office for the cable car and catering facilities is located, is located in Thankot. It is a city an hour’s drive from the capital, Kathmandu.
Therefore, you can take a bus from Kalanki, which is located halfway between the two places and an important bus stop, in which case you will have to walk a short distance from Thankot to the cable car station. Or you can rent a car directly from Kathmandu and drive to the starting point: the choice is yours.
Try to make a trip at least through a cable car, since the journey is quite exciting but safe.
